Fareeda Abbasi - Projects
I have been involved in bringing about a greater understanding of Human Rights in Education in Pakistan for many years. As part of this process, I have formed three organisations to help with this. You can see the details below.
Find Your Truth
The Find Your Truth Project is about Finding, Reconnecting, and Practically Exemplifying your Faith.
This project bridges the gap between faith and action. It’s a transformative training program for everyone, helping you discover your purpose, deepen your faith, and equip you with the skills to apply Islamic principles in your daily life practically. Through self-discovery, spiritual growth, and practical application, FYT empowers you to make a meaningful difference.
Youth Together for Human Rights Education
Our goal is to educate people on human rights as written by the United Nations in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, so that individuals, and especially women and children’s, rights are protected.
Our mission is to educate every sector of Pakistan on Human Rights. To carry out any training, educational programs, counselling and services that increase the skill, ability, and knowledge level of the individuals and/or provide services that help the individual and community live a better life.
Greenhouse Education Centre
I have been working in Karachi since 2003, in the areas of Education and Human Rights.
I decided to expand into the area of general education. We help teachers, parents, students and adults of all ages achieve their goals. The emphasis is on empowering students so they have the knowledge, skills and attitudes that enable them to be successful in life.
We have our own school in Karachi which delivers education up to GCSE standard, and which is based on a curriculum that I have developed based on my experience in the area of education.
You can partner with us!
We are looking to partner with like-minded individuals and organizations that can help these charity organizations to expand and grow, to bring about a better future for our children and the society we live in.
You can get in touch with me directly, or donate via the ythre.org donations page.
Thank you!
